Vāstu

Vāstu, an ancient Hindu science of architecture, has been meticulously researched and developed since the Vedic era. This age-old Vedic architectural wisdom, an integral part of Jyotisha, elucidates various principles governing dwelling spaces, collectively known as Vāstu. These foundational principles and basic laws of Vaastu are documented in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Puranas. The human body, composed of the Pancha Mahabhutas found in nature, is perpetually influenced by its surroundings. The science of Vāstu delineates guidelines to harness the positive energies of nature within our living spaces, aiming to enhance and optimize them. Additionally, Vāstu offers directives for the construction of palaces and cities.

The syllabus offered by ICAS equips students with the knowledge to comprehend Vāstu principles and apply them in practical scenarios. This curriculum covers aspects such as land selection criteria, construction guidelines, placement of doors, kitchens, bedrooms, and other utilities, as well as interior design principles aligned with Vāstu. Furthermore, it extends to Vāstu regulations pertinent to commercial and industrial establishments.
